CGA-BC has established 15 chapters around the province. Chapters offer members and students the opportunity to network at a variety of local educational events throughout the year.
The Chapter board selects their own Officers and Directors. These key volunteers provide leadership and uphold pride in the Association amongst the chapter membership. The main positions and responsibilities are:
Chair – Presides at all meeting of the chapter Board.
Vice Chair – Exercises all the powers of the Chair, in the absence of the Chair.
Secretary –Records all the proceedings for the chapter meetings.
Treasurer – Maintains all financial records and reports of the chapter.
Education Chair – Coordinates student orientation and local services for students.
PD Chair– Ensures each chapter has ongoing professional development events for both members and students.
